Influence of reinforcing bar on early cracking resistance of high strength concrete with end-restraint testChinese Full Text

Abstract: In order to control the early cracking of high-strength concrete,the end restraint test was carried out to measure the anti-cracking performance of concrete with different reinforcement ratio in early age.Before the test,a rigid frame with a large degree of constraint was designed.The restraining device could test the early age crack resistance of concrete specimens with different reinforcement ratio.Test device was composed by constraint frame,fixtures,concrete specimens,strain gauges,data acquisition instrument and other components.The specimen was provided with an end restraint through an outer frame,and both ends of the specimen were fixed to the end restraint frame by a clamp.Four kinds of steel bars with different diameters of 0,16 mm,20 mm and 25 mm were arranged inside the four end restrained specimens.By analyzing the surface strain of steel bar and the surface strain of the concrete,the effect of reinforcement under the confinement of the end on the early crack resistance of high strength concrete was put forward.The results showed that the greater the reinforcement ratio,the lower the tensile strain of high-strength concrete,the smaller the probability of cracking.
