Abstract: In order to preferably promote the plane composition teaching of design specialty in colleges,this paper,based on analyzing constitution forms of plane composition,explains plane composition combined rules of traditional paper cutting including component factors,modeling idea,free perspective,and repetitive composition,application of color language in paper cutting,implied meaning in paper cutting,and modeling language element,which turns abstract plane composition learning interesting.It is much easier for students to accept and understand,which not only arouses the enthusiasm and initiative of students to some extent,but also develops students’ design idea so as to get good class teaching effect.
